Option for AGM Power batteries that require
a higher voltage. Some battery manufacturer
suggest using this program for batteries that
run at temperatures of less than 5°C.
Option to equalize the acid concentration
between the elements of the battery. In this
way the average life of the battery increases.
This option can only be applied to WET bat-
teries because they withstand overvoltage in
a better way.
Charging phase Fig.3
PHASE 1: Check the battery state.
PHASE 2: The charger has a limited output
current until the battery will be in a condition
to accept the standard charging current.
PHASE 3-4:The charger will deliver the rat-
ed current until the battery has reached its
80% capacity.
PHASE 5: Constant voltage charge to bring
the battery at its full capacity.
PHASE 6: The charger checks the capabili-
ty of the battery to "hold the charge". (green
LED "E" ON steady).
PHASE 7: PULSED maintenance: the char-
ger is continuously checking the battery volt-
age and when necessary will deliver a pulse
of current to maintain the battery capacity
at 95 - 100%. State of charge LEDs 'E' with
steady green LED. .

Charging Errors

Led "C" will indicate some possible malfunc-
tioning of the battery all along the charging
cycle.
Led "C" = the voltage set is wrong. Check
that the battery charger and battery voltage
match.
Led "C" = the clamps have not been con-
nected to the battery or are short-circuited
Led "C" + Er1 = the current is not flowing
through the battery, the battery might have a
short-circuited cell.
Led "C" + Er2 = the capacity of the battery
is too large for the charger. The capacity of
950104-00 01/07/25
the battery is too large for the charger, or the
battery has a short-circuited cell.
Led "C" + Er3 = the battery cannot "hold the
charge",
a battery replacement may be necessary.
Led "C" + Er4 = sulphated battery, a battery
replacement may be necessary.
L
If the power supply fails, the charging
desired will automatically resume when
power returns.
L
The battery charger is equipped with
thermal protection that gradually reduces
the output current whenever the internal
temperature becomes too high.
Never leave the battery unattended
for long periods of time.

that are subject to normal wear and tear.
Faults originating from natural wear, over-
loads or improper utilization of the equip-
ment outside declared performance specifi-
cations. Minor faults, which do not alter the
value and performance of the product. Prod-
ucts tampered with or damaged by the use of
nonoriginal accessories or spare parts.
Appliances returned, even if they are under
warranty, shall be sent to us CARRIAGE
PAID, and shall be delivered CARRIAGE
FORWARD.
These terms do not apply to appliances clas-
sified as consumer goods according to the
