Automatic clock functions
Synchronisation exact to the second
In the night around 2 and 3 a.m. the receiver is switched on and the internal time
is synchronised to the second by radio. Should neither of the right-time reception
attempts lead to umambiguous synchronisation, your radio clock displays a "1" on
the LC display when in the reception monitoring mode. The days without reception
are added up. On such days, however, your watch nonetheless runs very accurately
by quartz, with the help of internal time storage. The next possible successful recep-
tion leads to synchronisation and the reception monitoring is set to "0".
Adjustment from summertime to wintertime and vice versa
When reception is undisturbed, your watch adjusts itself in the night around 2 or
3 a.m. Interference with reception conditions can lead to this being delayed until the
morning.

Battery change display
The LC display functions as an intdicator. The seconds or date display alternates
every second with a "Lo" in the display. This indicates that the battery voltage has
fallen below the limit value. It is possible for the battery change display to be acti-
vated by unfavourable external conditions (very low surrounding temperature).
After normalisation of the external conditions the flashing in the LC display play
ceases. When the battery recovers, all functions are once again available in their full
scope.
Shortening the bracelet
(only models with metal section straps)
You can easily adjust the length of your watch strap with a tool. Place the watch on
a soft surface. Press the joining pin(s) a little way out with the tool. If an arrow is
visible printed on the segments which can be removed, then only push out the
joining pins in the direction of the arrow. The joining pins can be entirely pulled out
with piners. Remove the surplus strap segments and connect the strap segments to
the length desired by pressing in a joining pin.
