3. Adjustments

3.1 OSD menu
The camera adjustments are done by an OSD (on-screen-display) menu. Under the service
lid, you will find a mini-joystick. Press onto this joystick and a menu pops up in the video
picture. You can now move the joystick left/right/up/down in order to get to the desired menu
item.
To confirm your choice, press onto the joystick.
See chapter 4 "Camera adjustments via OSD menu" for further details.
3.2 Additional video connection
This additional video connector can be used with the included adapter, e.g. if you want to
install a monitor during the installation phase in case the regular video cable has already
been laid.
3.3 IR-LEDs
Using this adjuster it is possible to turn the IR LEDs off completely, so that the camera
operates without IR lights. If the IR function is activated, the integrated IR LEDs automatically
switch on and off, depending on the light conditions.
The range of the IR LEDs strongly depends on the site and the environment. It amounts to
approx. 20 meter.
Note:
The range of the built-in IR-LEDs strongly depend on the location and the surroundings.
Strongly absorbent surfaces, e.g. dark, rough structures (floor, lawn or asphalt) may lead to a
considerable reduction of the maximum range.
