8.4.2 Step 2 - FOLLOW:
This mode helps to practice songs more accurately. The
keyboard guide on the LED display (C) shows where the notes
are on the keyboard so you can follow along. The piano waits
until you hit the correct note before moving on to the next note.
The keyboard only plays the correct note of the song and does
not respond to an incorrect note.
To activate follow mode:
1� Press the FOLLOW button on the front control panel (D). The
LED display (C) shows SONG and LEARN. The metronome
starts oscillating.
2� To deactivate, press the FOLLOW button on the front control
panel (D) again. SONG and LEARN disappear from the LED
display (C) and the metronome stops oscillating.
8.4.3 Step 3 - ENSEMBLE:
This mode requires an accurate and comprehensive
understanding of the notes and tempo of the song. The
keyboard guide on the LED display (C) shows where the notes
are on the keyboard so you can follow along. If you fail to play
the correct note within 3 seconds, the keyboard will play the
correct note automatically, then move on to the next note until
the whole song is completed.
To activate ensemble mode:
1� Press the ENSEMBLE button on the front control panel (D).
The LED display (C) shows SONG and LEARN. The
metronome starts oscillating.
2� To deactivate, press the ENSEMBLE button on the front
control panel (D). SONG and LEARN disappear from the LED
display (C) and the metronome stops oscillating.

8.5 Recording & playback
This function is intended to record your own keyboard
performances. The maximum number of notes that can be
recorded is 60. Once the memory is full the recording and the
metronome stops automatically.
To record:
1� To start recording, press the REC button on the
bottom control panel (H). The LED display (C) shows REC�
2� Play a song on the keyboard. Once the memory is full, REC
on the LED display starts flashing. The recording stops
automatically. The rest of the song will not be recorded.
To play the recording:
1� To start playback press the PLAY button on the
bottom control panel (H). The LED display (C) shows PLAY�
2� To stop playback press the PLAY button again. PLAY
disappears from the LED display (C).

    NOTICE   The recording is deleted once the instrument is
switched off.

8.6 Programming a rhythm

This function allows you to program percussion sounds to create
custom rhythm. A maximum of 32 beats can be programmed
at once. As soon as 32 beats are reached, the recording stops
automatically. Only one program can be set, any previously
recorded rhythm will be erased when you record a new
programmed rhythm.
To record a rhythm:
1� To start programming a rhythm press the PROG button on
the bottom control panel (H). The LED display (C) shows
PRG. The keyboard is set to a percussion mode automatically.
2� Press desired keys to record a rhythm.
3� To stop recording press the PROG button on the bottom
control panel (H) again. PRG disappears from the LED
display (C).

To adjust the rhythm tempo:
The tempo can be adjusted while programming a rhythm. To
adjust tempo see chapter "7.6 Setting tempo" on page 8.
To play a programmed rhythm in a loop:
1� Press the PLAY button on the bottom control panel (H). LED
display (C) shows PLAY�
2� To stop playback, press the PLAY button on the bottom
control panel (H) again. PLAY disappears from the LED
display (C).

8.7 Built-in memory

This function allows you to store up to 3 sets of timbre, rhythm
and tempo information.
To save timbre, rhythm and tempo:
1� Set a preferred rhythm, timbre, and tempo.
2� Press and hold the MEMORY button on the front control
panel (D), then press the M1, M2 or M3 button on front
control panel (D) to save the setting under selected memory.
To retrieve a memory setting:
Press the M1, M2 or M3 button on the front control panel (D) to
set a desired memory.

    NOTICE   The memory settings are deleted once the
instrument is switched off.
