About the Withings U-Scan Reader

The Withings U-Scan Reader is an automatic at-
home urine analyzer. Used with Withings U-Scan
Cartridges, it tracks various urinary parameters.
Measurement results are displayed in the With-
ings App.

About the Withings U-Scan System

To use the Withings U-Scan System, you need a
Withings U-Scan Reader and a Withings U-Scan
Cartridge.
You must create an account on the Withings App,
install the app, and pair your device via Bluetooth.
Follow the installation instructions in the "Setup
Process" section. The Withings U-Scan Reader
features Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Wi-Fi
connectivity.
Test results are transmitted via Wi-Fi, meaning the
device requires a functional Wi-Fi connection.

Before using this equipment, read this manual
carefully. The Withings U-Scan Reader is not a
medical device and is not intended for diagnosis,
treatment, or disease monitoring. Self-diagnosis
and self-treatment can be dangerous—always
consult your doctor if you have questions.
- Compatible only with Withings U-Scan Cartridges.
- Data provided is for informational purposes only
and does not replace laboratory medical tests.
- Intended for adults only.
- Only human urine samples should be used.
- Do not use if the device is damaged, as this may
cause injury or equipment failure.
- Do not attempt to repair or modify the device. Do
not open or disassemble it for battery replacement.
- Follow the cleaning and maintenance instructions
in this guide. Using unapproved cleaning agents
may damage the device.
- The charger's power cable may cause strangula-
tion; keep it away from children and pets.
- Follow the operational and storage conditions
in the technical specifications section to ensure
measurement accuracy.

- Only use accessories and parts specified by With-
ings. Using unauthorized components may lead to
increased electromagnetic emissions or decreased
immunity, causing improper operation.
- Use the provided power cord to plug in the
station.
- Do not conduct a test while the device is charg-
ing.
- Ensure the device is properly closed before
conducting a test.
- Do not perform tests during menstruation, as
blood may contaminate the fluidic circuit.
- Certain substances or intakes may affect result
accuracy; refer to the Withings U-Scan Cartridge
instruction manual.
- Avoid exposing the device to strong impacts or
vibrations (e.g., dropping or shaking).
