The actuator controls connected loads in accordance
with the wireless commands it receives or by operating
the rocker. Commands are transmitted by pressing
battery-operated buttons or remote controls, or via a
software interface. It is also possible to control actu-
ators via taught-in sensors. When an event occurs,
the sensors transmit a command (in the same way as
a button). Refer to the manual for the corresponding
sensor for more detailed information.
You can also switch or dim the HomeMatic flush-
mounted dimmer manually using the rocker at any
time. With a brief button press, the HomeMatic flush-
mounted dimmer works like an ON/OFF switch.
In order to regulate the brightness of the lamp or
luminaire, press and hold down the rocker until the
required brightness has been reached.
The adapters for different switches allow you to
replace switches made by popular manufacturers with
an intelligent HomeMatic installation cost-effectively
during renovation, or integrate HomeMatic actuators
in the design of a new installation. Using existing or
planned switches and cabling reduces the cost of
