Notes for professional electricians

Installation and basic settings:
1. Switch off the power supply.
2. Connect the supporting frame terminal according to the wiring dia-
gram (see page 70). Please note the position of the combination
frame Jung CD 500, alpine-white.
Attention: Currently valid VDE standards must be observed
when connecting the device, in particular DIN VDE
0100/0700 as well as the currently valid regulations
of your local power company and accident preven-
tion regulations.
3. Set the DIP switches to the desired function (see pages 58, 59
and 61).
4. Mount the supporting frame in the flush-type box and screw them
together.
5. Slide the basic housing in the supporting frame and screw them
together.
6. Switch on the power supply and press the reset button.
7. Set the selector switch to manual mode (H), i.e. push it to the
right all the way to the "click". Check, if the direction of the motor
rotation corresponds with the direction buttons. If not, exchange
terminal 4 with terminal 5.

Important: Parallel control of several roller shutter drive motors can
only be implemented by means of isolating relays or
group control devices.
In case of power failure, the display contrast will fade
which does not indicate that the battery is empty.
The intermediate frame can only be used together with our combina-
tion frame.
The following versions of cover frame Jung "CD 500", alpine-white,
are available:
Combination frame one-fold,
Combination frame two-fold,
Combination frame three-fold,
Combination frame four-fold,
Combination frame five-fold,
For surface-type installation
please use our surface-type housing, article-no. 01030820
For controlling two drives, we recommend our isolating relays:
Isolating relays TR N2S,
