Zum Aufrufen der 2. Menüseite die Taste SELECT (2)
erneut drücken. Sind noch keine Alarmsensoren an-
geschlossen, so liegen bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme
des Gerätes folgende Grundeinstellungen vor:

7.2.1 Grundeinstellungen bei Anschluß von
externen Alarmsensoren
1) Sind Alarmsensoren angeschlossen (siehe Kap.
5.3 „Alarmverbindungen"), erkennt das Gerät den
Sensortyp (NO- oder NC-Kontakt). In der Spalte
„SENSOR" wird für jeden Alarmeingang der ermit-
telte Sensortyp angezeigt: OPEN für Sensoren mit
NO-Kontakt, CLOSE für Sensoren mit NC-Kontakt.
In die Spalte „TYPE" den jeweils angeschlosse-
nen Sensortyp eingeben. Dazu mit der Cursor-

in jeder Zeile 1-4 das entspre-
chende Eingabefeld anwählen, und durch Drücken
einer Eingabetaste (

2) Jeder der vier Alarmeingänge kann separat akti-
viert/ deaktivert werden. Mit der Cursor-Taste

des jeweiligen Alarmeingangs anwählen, und
durch Drücken einer Eingabetaste (
den Alarmeingang aktivieren („ON") oder deakti-
vieren („OFF").
3) Stimmt die eingegebene Sensorangabe (Spalte
„TYPE") nicht mit dem tatsächlichen Sensortyp
(Spalte „SENSOR") überein, blinkt am Ende der je-
weiligen Zeile ein Fragezeichen. Wenn diese Ein-

3) If the inserted sensor indication (column "TYPE")
is not according to the actual sensor type (column
"SENSOR"), a question mark blinks at the end of
the respective line. If this input is not corrected ac-
cordingly and the respective alarm input is pro-
grammed to "ON", the unit triggers an alarm after
memorizing all settings.
4) To adjust the response sensitivity of the alarm sen-
sors, choose the input field in line "SENSITIVITY"

the value, the higher the response sensitivity of
the sensor.
7.2.2 Adjusting the alarm duration
The alarm duration can be adjusted from 0 second to
99 minutes. A permanent alarm is possible as well.

7.2.3 Basic settings for the recording by video
recorder
To synchronize the camera switching of the multi-
plexer with the recording intervals of the video re-
corder while recording via jack MPLX (18), the multi-
plexer must the set to the respective recording mode
of the video recorder.
To match the multiplexer to the operating mode of
the video recorder, two ways of procedure are pos-
sible:

7.2.2 Alarmdauer einstellen

Die Alarmdauer läßt sich von 0 Sekunden bis 99 Mi-
nuten einstellen. Auch ein Daueralarm ist möglich.

7.2.3 Grundeinstellungen für die Recorder-Auf-
zeichnung
Um bei der Aufzeichnung über die Buchse MPLX (18)
die Kamera-Umschaltung des Multiplexers mit den
) auf NO oder NC
Aufnahmeintervallen des Videorecorders zu synchro-
nisieren, muß der Multiplexer auf den jeweiligen Auf-
nahmemodus des Recorders eingestellt werden.

Für die Anpassung des Multiplexers auf die Be-
triebsart des Videorecorders sind zwei Vorgehenswei-
sen möglich:

In diesem Fall müssen bei Änderungen der Videore-
corder-Betriebsarten auch die Einstellungen am Mul-
tiplexer entsprechend geändert werden.

2) Time-lapse recorders offer the facility to switch to
real time recording in case of alarm. To use this
function, the video recorder must be connected
with the multiplexer by an alarm cable (see chap-
ter 5.3 "Alarm connections).
To set the multiplexer to the alarm recording
mode of the video recorder, choose the input fields
of line "ALARM RECORD TIME" with cursor but-

b. Multiplexer receives a control pulse by the video
recorder
The multiplexer must be connected via connection
VCR TRIG. (7) with the camera switching pulse out-
put of the video recorder (see chapter 5.2 "Monitor
and video recorder"). Via the control signal of this
output - negative or positive pulse - the camera
switching of the multiplexer is matched to the record-
ing mode of the video recorder. In this case the multi-
plexer is automatically set to the respective recording
mode of the video recorder, i.e. if the operating mode
of the video recorder is changed, the multiplexer
must not newly be programmed.

auf Echtzeitaufnahme umzuschalten. Um diese
Funktion zu nutzen, muß der Recorder durch eine
Alarmverbindung mit dem Multiplexer verbunden
sein (siehe Kap. 5.3 „Alarmverbindungen").
Zum Einstellen des Multiplexers auf den Alarm-
Aufnahmemodus des Recorders mit der Cursor-

Wenn ein Echtzeitrecorder zur Aufzeichnung ver-
wendet wird, bzw. wenn Multiplexer und Recorder
nicht über eine Alarmleitung verbunden sind, in der
Zeile „ALARM RECORD TIME" den gleichen Wert
wie in der Zeile „VCR RECORD TIME" eingeben.
b Multiplexer empfängt einen Steuerimpuls vom
Videorecorder
Der Multiplexer muß über den Anschluß VCR TRIG.
(7) mit dem Kamera-Umschaltimpuls-Ausgang des
Videorecorders verbunden sein (siehe Kap. 5.2 „Mo-
nitor und Videorecorder"). Über das Steuersignal die-
ses Ausgangs - negativer oder positiver Impuls -
wird die Kamera-Umschaltung des Multiplexers auf
den Aufnahmemodus des Recorders angepaßt. Der
Multiplexer stellt sich in diesem Fall automatisch auf
den jeweiligen Aufnahmemodus des Recorders ein,
d. h. bei Änderungen der Recorder-Betriebsart muß
der Multiplexer nicht neu programmiert werden.
