21.2. Installation via Google Play or the Apple App
Store
 Open Google Play or the Apple App Store and search for the term MEDION
Lifestream II.
 Install the Lifestream II app from Medion. Follow the installation instructions on
the screen.
NOTE!
In order to be able to install the Lifestream II app, there must be an Inter-
net connection.

21.3. Using the app

 After you have installed the app, you need to connect the Internet radio to your
smartphone/tablet PC.
 To do this, start the app and switch on the Internet radio. Make sure that the
smartphone/tablet PC and the Internet radio are logged in to the same WiFi net-
work.
 When starting the app for the very first time, it will list all compatible Internet ra-
dios detected in the WiFi network by their friendly name (see also "21. Accessing
the web interface of the Internet radio" on page 89).
 Select the correct Internet radio or the group of Internet radios to use the app.
NOTE!
If the WiFi function is deactivated in operating modes that do not require
WiFi (AUX IN), you will not be able to control the radio via the Lifestream
II app.

22. Troubleshooting

If the device malfunctions, please check first to see if you can remedy the problem
yourself with the help of the followingtips.
Never try to repair the device yourself. Please contact our Service Centre or a profes-
sional repair shop if a repair is necessary.
