6 Installation
WARNING Falling objects: Risk of injury
to persons below the installation site if the ex-
ternal cover or objects fall down during instal-
lation work or if the external cover comes loo-
se due to improper fastening.
Ensure that nobody is below the installation site.
Fasten the external cover properly using the en-
closed mounting material (screws), secure it
against falling and seal it to the external plaster
using suitable sealing material. Sealing material
is to be provided by the customer.
NOTICE Building and moisture damage if the
condensate drainage channel of the mounting
sleeve is dirty/blocked or if the drip rail is in-
correctly fitted.
Ensure a clean condensate drain from the moun-
ting sleeve so that the condensate can drain sa-
fely into the external cover.
6.2 Fitting the RV 2 AH / AHB / AV /
AVB external covers
RV 2 AH and RV 2 AHB (horizontal) = Accesso-

1 Screw covers (4 pcs.)
2 Fixing screws (4 pcs.)
3 External grille
4 Long drip rail with sealing strip at the bot-
tom
5 Plaster frame

Observe safety instructions!
CAUTION Risk of injury when handling
housing parts with sharp components, e.g.
stainless steel external covers. Wear protecti-
ve gloves.
1. Once the external plastering is complete, re-
move the plaster protective cover. The RV 2
mounting sleeve must be plastered flush.
2. Clean the condensate drain of the RV 2 moun-
ting sleeve. The condensate must be able to
drain freely.
3. Slide the drip rail with sealing strip downwards
into the plaster frame of the mounting sleeve.
It must audibly engage. ATTENTION: Ensure
condensate drainage. Condensate must not
penetrate between the mounting sleeve and
the exterior wall.
