• This appliance must be connected to a grounded outlet. The microwave is equipped with
a power cord having a grounding wire and plug. It must be plugged into a wall outlet that
is properly installed and grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding
reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. It is
recommended that a separate circuit be provided serving only the oven. Using high voltage
is dangerous and may cause a fire or other accident that may damage the microwave.
Warning: Improper use of the grounded plug may result in a risk of electric shock.
Note:
• If you have any questions regarding grounding or electrical instructions, consult a quali-
fied electrician or serviceman.
• Neither the manufacturer nor the distributor can accept any responsibility for damage to
the microwave or personal injury resulting from failure to comply with electrical connec-
tion procedures.
• The wires are colored according to the following code:
Green and yellow = Ground / Blue = Neutral / Brown = Phase
Microwave operation may cause interference to your radio, television or similar equipment.
When interference occurs, it can be reduced or eliminated by taking the following measures:
1. Clean the door and sealing surface of the microwave.
2. Reorient the receiving antenna of the radio or television.
3. Relocate the microwave relative to the receiver.
4. Move the microwave away from the receiver.
5. Plug the microwave into a different outlet so that the microwave and receiver are on dif-
ferent branch circuits.
Before calling for technical support, check the following aspects:
• Check that your microwave is plugged in properly. If not, remove the plug from the outlet,
wait 10 seconds, and plug it back in.
• Check that no fuse has blown or that the main power switch has tripped. If everything
seems to be working normally, check the outlet with another appliance.
• Make sure the control panel and timer have been programmed correctly.
• Check that the door closes properly by checking the safety locking system. If the door is
not closed properly, the microwave energy will not operate inside.
If none of the above resolves the problem, contact a qualified technician. Do not attempt to
adjust or repair the microwave yourself.
