Setup and connect the machine
Connect
the machine
Make sure that the values
frequency specified on the type plate match the mains at the
installation
site.
Only connect the machine to an earthed mains socket. If you
are unsure, contact an electrician or your dealer.
Insert the power plug into the socket.
Prepare the machine
Fill
the
water
tank
and
connect
Open the cover (Fig. 2: 16) and remove the water tank.

Clean the water tank with hot water and a little washing-up

Put the water tank down, fill it with clear, cold water up to

Connect the water tank adapter to the back of the machine

When you have started the machine, you can use the +
and - buttons to display the various boiler temperatures.
Thewater temperature is displayed by default. With a click
on the "-" button you can seethe steam temperature. If
you click the "+" button, the water temperature is
displayed again. To switch off the preheating of the steam
boiler, you can pressthe "+" button for 5 secondswhile the
steamtemperature
is displayed, then the preheating of the
steam boiler is deactivated (this is shown with "OFF"on
your display. To reactivatethe preheating, hold down)
Pressthe "+" button again for 5 seconds
Use softened water. This will prevent the machine from
calcifying prematurely.
Do not use pure or distilled
water!
