1. SAFETY
• WARNING! DO NOT use the tool if damaged, has missing parts or is thought to be faulty.
• WARNING! Disconnect from air supply when changing accessories or servicing.
• WARNING! Always wear approved eye, face and hand protection when operating the tool.
• WARNING! We recommend you wear suitable respiratory protection. Always wear an HSE approved
dust mask (FFP1, FFP2, FFP3).
• WARNING! Always wear approved hand & ear protection. Ensure the gloves are not loose fitting or
frayed on the fingers.
• WARNING! Store idle air tools out of reach of children and DO NOT allow persons unfamiliar with the
tool or the instructions to operate the tool.
• WARNING! Discs are abrasive, even when changing wear gloves to avoid cutting/scratching yourself.
• Dress appropriately. DO NOT wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep hair, clothing and gloves away
from moving parts.
• Use the tool in accordance with these instructions considering working conditions and the work to be
performed.
• WARNING! Always keep a tight grip on the tool, using additional hand grips if they are available.
Failure to do so may end up with injuries to hands and wrist.
• DO NOT point the tool towards anyone.

• WARNING! Check correct air pressure is maintained and not exceeded.
• WARNING! Keep air hose away from heat, oil and sharp edges. Check air hose for wear before each

The compressor should be able to supply a minimal air delivery of 6.36 SCFM @ 90 psi to ensure the compressor can run continuously with the tool.

Preparing a tool for first time operation Lubricate the sander before use. 2 drops of air tool (PCL part no ISO 221L) oil applied directly into the compressed air inlet (5) will increase tool life Affix a whip hose to the compressed air inlet (5). This will minimise any ‘whip’ from the hose, should it become disconnected.

Take the 24mm spanner (7) and use a light amount of pressure to force the spanner between the sanding pad and the main body. You will be able to feel the spanner hold on to a nut and feel secure. Hold the sanding pad (6) in your left hand with the spanner in your right hand.
