Battery protection function
This appliance is equipped with a multi-level battery guard to help protect the battery from over-discharge when the appli-
ance is connected to a 24V power supply.
A long press followed by successive button presses to toggle the level of protection. Confirm the change by waiting ap-
proximately 10 seconds, after which your selection will be saved.
The individual modes of low, medium and high protection are designed so that if the voltage of the battery from which the
appliance is powered falls below a certain limit, the device will automatically switch off to prevent the battery from being
over-discharged.
If the appliance is used in a vehicle, we recommend using the high protection mode. If the appliance is only connected to
a 24 V battery that you do not need to start the vehicle, you can use the other battery protection modes.
NOTE! Risk of damage!
When the appliance switches off due to battery monitoring, the battery is no longer fully charged. Avoid repeated starting
or using other appliances without longer recharging phases. Make sure that the battery is charged.

Cleaning and maintenance
• WARNING!
• Always disconnect the appliance from the mains before cleaning and maintenance.
• NOTE! Risk of damage
• Never clean the appliance under running water or in a dishwasher.
• Do not use harsh or hard cleaning agents for cleaning as these may damage the appliance.
• Occasionally clean the surface of the appliance with a damp cloth.
• Use a neutral detergent for heavy dirt build-up.
• Dry with a dry cloth.
• If the appliance is left off for a long period of time, it should be washed and sufficient air circulation around the appli-
ance should be ensured; disinfection should also be carried out.
• Disinfect the air conditioner at least once a year.
• Do not use sprayers as a cleaning aid, water could get into the electronics of the unit and cause rust and damage to
the metal components.
• To clean the information display, do not use caustic-based products, cleaning powders, soaps, alkaline cleaners, gaso-
line, acid or hot water.
Disinfecting the air conditioner
• Use an air conditioning disinfectant cleaner to remove odours or to prevent the formation of mould and bacteria.
• With the cooling running, apply the disinfectant to the air conditioner intake opening/intake hose and leave the unit
on for at least 10 minutes.
