Installation of the small blade guard
You will need the socket wrench, the Allen key and a screw.
1. Loosen the blade base nut with the socket wrench. Remove the
nut and washer once the nut has been loosened. Set them aside.
(see Fig. #5)
2. Remove the blade base. Attach the small blade guard by sliding
it over the motor unit and aligning the notches before clicking
it into place. Turn the blade guard in the direction of the arrow
(arrow on blade guard) until the mounting hole of the blade
guard is precisely aligned with the screw thread of the motor
unit. (see Fig. #6)
3. Insert the supplied screw through the hole and tighten it with
the Allen key. Re-affix the blade base to the motor unit with the
blade guard. (see Fig. #7)
Installing the blade guard/wheel set
(see Fig. #8)
1. To install the blade guard on the motor unit, you will need the following
parts: Socket & Allen key combination and screw.
2. Loosen the blade base nut with the socket wrench. Remove the nut and
washer once the nut has been loosened. Set them aside.
3. Remove the blade base. Attach the blade guard by sliding it over the
motor unit and aligning the notches before clicking it into place. Turn
the blade guard in the direction of the arrow (arrow on blade guard)
until the mounting hole of the blade guard is precisely aligned with the
screw thread of the motor unit. (see Fig. #10)
4. Insert the supplied screw through the hole and tighten it with the Allen
key. Re-affix the blade base to the motor unit with the blade guard.
To use as a lawn mower, fit the wheel set as follows:
5. Mount and screw both wheels into the side holes of the
blade guard. There are 3 adjustable heights for setting the
desired cutting height. You can vary the height according to
your requirements by attaching the wheels to the respective
mounting holes.
• Bottom hole = lowest cutting level
• Middle hole = medium cutting level
• Top hole = highest cutting level
6. To attach the wheels, insert the lock nut into the inner recess of the
blade guard, in the hole that has the appropriate cutting height for
your project.
7. Then insert the large threaded screw into the recess provided in the
locking aid, and push it through the opening in the wheel. Now tighten
the wheel using the locking aid on the blade guard and the lock nut.
Repeat on the other side with the second wheel.
Inserting the blades (see Fig. #9)
Now you can use the blades you need for the task. Align the blades
(either polyamide blades or Nylon trimmers) over the notches
of the blade base, and place them securely on top. Now add the
washer and nut, and tighten them firmly. To remove the blade,
simply perform these steps in reverse. When fitting the nylon
cutter, make sure that the recess for the nut is on the underside or
visible side.

Make sure that the cutting tool does not come
into contact with objects such as branches,
bricks, stones, etc. during operation.
Switch off the device if the cutting tool comes
into contact with objects such as bricks,
stones, etc. and check it for damage and
defective parts.
Installation of the pivoting flower guard
(see Fig. #11 + New image)
Bend the ends of the flower guard slightly apart so that you can
slide it over the motor unit, as shown in the image. Now insert the
ends into the holes provided on the lower part of the motor unit.
Function of the pivoting flower guard (see Fig. #12)
The pivoting flower guard protects your valuable plants. It prevents
you from bumping into walls or other objects that you don't want to
get too close to. You can also simply fold it up or to the side when
you don't need it, and it will stay securely in place.
Installation of the swivel handle
1. Remove the screw on the swivel handle. (see Fig. #13)
2. Mount the swivel handle on the upper part of the pole with the
screw on the left side of the unit. Press the handle down onto
the shaft until it clicks into place. (see Fig. #14)
3. Place the nut into the hole provided, reinsert the screw, and
turn it clockwise until it is tight and secure.
4. Depending on your needs, you can loosen the screw to adjust
and adapt the position of the swivel handle.
Length adjustment of the telescopic handle
(see Fig. #15)
By sliding the locking device on the telescopic handle you can
extend or shorten the handle.
Control of the angular adjustment (see Fig. #16)
Adjust the angle of the motor unit of the Hammersmith MultiWizard
by pressing the red adjustment angle button until it clicks into
place to set the desired degree of cut depending on the task.
