can occur if the battery compartment is defective or not correctly screwed shut. Please always screw
the battery compartment cover shut carefully. Batteries can cause serious internal injuries. In this case,
immediate medical attention is required!

you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate
medical attention.
Preparation
Insertion of batteries should be done by an adult as follows: (Fig. 1)
1. Use a screwdriver to open the battery compartment.
2. Insert the 3 X 1.5V AAA (LR03) batteries. Please check if the polarity is correct.
3. Screw the cover of the battery compartment back on again. (Fig. 1)
4. ! Ensure that the battery compartment cover is screwed on tightly / is leak-tight!
Function
Before placing the doll in the water, plait her hair. Move the doll's head to the side.
Carefully place the doll in the water stomach first.
First, attach the fin to the lower part of the mermaid's body. To do so, ensure that the pin is inserted
correctly into the lower fitting and press it in firmly until it clicks. (Fig. 2)
Once the batteries have been inserted, the lower part of the mermaid's body will immediately light up.
(Fig. 3)
The RBG* LED will flash and change colour for approx. 24 seconds and then stop.
It will stay lit for as long as you move the doll in your hand.
Move the doll again to restart the colour changing effects.
This product is suitable for use in water.
Read the sections "Please note" and "All about batteries / rechargeable batteries" carefully!
The doll's hair can be brushed and styled using any commercially available hairbrush. To restyle the hair,
brush the hair gently, starting at the tips and gradually moving upwards towards the roots. This prevents
the hair from tangling and matting.

To dry the wet hair, wrap it in a towel and pat dry before leaving it to air dry.

Cleaning
The product can be cleaned with a damp (not wet) cloth. Please ensure that no moisture enters the
electronics or battery compartment.
Disposal according to WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive)
All products marked with a crossed out wheeled bin cannot be disposed of in unsorted municipal waste.
Their collection must be done separately. Return and collection systems in Europe should be organized
by collection and recycling organizations. WEEE-products can be disposed of free of charge at the
appropriate collection points. The reason for this is to protect the environment and human health due to
the potential effects of the presence of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
