Automatic learning mo dus
Starting with the first output, the decoder waits
◆
in learning mode for the next command from
the central unit and assigns the address to the
output.
Address assignment is only necessary in
◆
LocoNet and RS-BUS mode. In LocoNet, each
output can be assigned its own address (1-
2048). In RS-BUS, the module address is
specified (1-130). The S88 bus has no
Address assignment. The addresses here depend
on the position in the chain.
After the first command received, the next
◆
output is automatically selected and the
system waits for the next address. (only with
LocoNet)
Once an address has been assigned to all
◆
outputs, programming mode ends
automatically.
Assign addresses
If an output is to be skipped during
◆
addressing, the button can be pressed
again.
If no command is received within 60 seconds
◆
received or the button is pressed, the learning
mode ends automatically.
Addresses
An individual address can be assigned to each
◆
output (LocoNet only). The address is freely
selectable.
An address can be assigned multiple times.
◆
When the address is called up, all outputs
which are assigned to this address.
