If the LED strip is coated with silicone,
this coating has to be removed from
the contacts (Fig. 3). You can use a
cardboard cutter to slightly open the
silicone coating. Cut carefully, as deep
cuts can cause damage to the circuit-
board of the LED strip.

Use your finger nail to carefully strip
off the silicone coating of the LED strip
(Fig. 4).
