Switching on and off

Switching states
On Display lights up brightly and shows the activated function
Off Display is dark
Standby Display is dimmed and shows the time
Operation
• Switching on from standby mode:
Press the button (9) on the device or on the remote control
• Switching on from off mode:
Press and hold the button (9) on the device (2 - 3 seconds until the display appears)

Press the button (9) on the device or on the remote control
• Switch off to off mode:
Press and hold the button (9) on the device or remote control (2 - 3 seconds until the display goes off).
When the device is switched off, it does not respond to commands from the remote control. The device
responds to commands from the remote control only in standby mode or when switched on.
The alarm function works only in standby mode, not in off mode.

General operation

• Turn the rotary knob (6) to set the volume and use the menu to select functions or change settings/values.
• Press the rotary knob (6) like a regular button to confirm a selection or setting.
• Using the remote control, you can change the volume with the
the sound.
• Navigate the menu using the remote control with the arrow buttons (26).
• Use the MODE button (28) to cycle through the different operating modes. Each time you press this button, the
device switches to the next mode.
• The button (3) opens the main menu.
