This is an i-Size Enhanced Child Restraint System. It is approved according to UN
Regulation No. R129/03, for use in i-Size compatible vehicle seating positions as
indicated by vehicle manufacturers in their vehicle user manuals. If in doubt, consult
either the Enhanced Child Restraint System manufacturer or the retailer.

INTENDED USE

ROTEX 360° i-Size base is a car seat base that complies with the new European
regulation R129. ROTEX 360° i-Size base aims at inceasing children safety in car by
promoting UNVERSAL ISOFIX installation, by supporting rearward-facing travel up to
minimum 15 months of the child. The base is intended for car seats: for children size
range 40-87 cm height, weighting from 0 to 13 kg. This base can be used in
combination with Cangaroo's i-Size baby car seats, models "Onyx".
When using the base, child car seat must be installed in car only in direction opposite
to motion, so child is "rearwards facing".
THIS RESTRAINT SYSTEM IS SUITABLE ONLY IF THE APPROVED VEHICLES ARE
EQUIPPED WITH LAP/3-POINT/ STATIC WITH RETRACTING SAFETY BELTS, APPROVED
TO UN/ECE REGULATION NO. 16 OR OTHER EQUIVALENT STANDARDS. Check in the
instructions of your car if this universal restraint system for children from the
mentioned weight groups can be placed.
WARNING! EXTREME HAZARD! DO NOT INSTALL THE BASE WITH THE BABY CAR SEAT
IN A VEHICLE ON CAR SEATS WITH AIR BAGS (SRS).
WARNING! In order to keep your child properly protected, it is absolutely essential
that you use the car seat as described in the user guides for both car seat and base.
READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU INSTALL THE CAR SEAT BASE IN
THE VEHICLE. THE INCORRECT USE CAN BE DANGEROUS.

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS

The child safety car seat base has been manufactured, tested and certified in
accordance with the requirements of Regulation No 129 of the Economic Commission
for Europe of the United Nations (UN/ECE) — Uniform provisions concerning the
approval of enhanced Child Restraint Systems used on board of motor vehicles (ECRS).
The seal with the E approval mark (in a circle) and the approval number are on the
approval label (sticker affixed to the child seat base). This approval will be invalid if you
make any changes to the child safety seat base. Only the manufacturer is allowed to
make changes to the child restraint system. Your car seat is only compatible with the
ISOFIX Base "Rotex i-Size", if you can see the Type Approval label on your car seat as
