4.3.2 Linear Plant

The linear system runs in a single direction, following the perimeter of one or more sides of the
area to be treated. It is suitable for straight spaces, accesses or linear fences.
Initial section: again, an 8 mm pipe (outside diameter) is used for the first 25-30

metres to ensure adequate initial pressure.
Subsequent sections: continue with 6 mm tubing, again with quick-release couplings.

Spray nozzles: install every 4 metres, following the recommended spacing.

Non-return valves: to be strategically placed in sloping sections to prevent leakage

and maintain efficiency.
Advantages of linear implantation:
- Easier to install.
- Suitable for areas delimited on one or more sides.
- Ideal for situations where a ring lock is not possible.
