Automatic fall arrest
Automatic fall arrester with 1.80 m webbing
The B1.8B ESD Strap type fall arrester is a PPE that complies with EN 360
and meets the requirements for use in terrace work according to the VG11
CNB/P/11.060 data sheet of 2009 with an edge with a minimum radius of
0.5mm. The blockfor™ 1.8B 150kg is suitable for scaffolding and
maintenance work.
The main physical characteristics of the B1.8B ESD are :
- Weight (with M47/M51 connector): 1.33 kg,
- Useful extended length: 1.80 m.(+/-5cm)
- ABS fibre reinforced polyamide casings,
- Aramid webbing 15 mm wide and 1.45 m long,
- ESD (Extremity System Dissipator) in tear-away webbing, labelled with the
device's traceability data and acting as a fall indicator,
- Type M47 swivel connector at the end of the dissipator,
- M51 type swivel connector at the end of the strap

For the user the B1.8B ESD has many advantages:
- It is light and compact, making it easy to carry and use,
- It is equipped with wear, abrasion and ageing resistant housings,
- It is easy to install on different types of anchors thanks to its M51 connector
fixed at the end of the strap.
- It is easy to connect to the harness thanks to the M47 connector fixed on
the ESD heatsink above the housing
- It benefits from a flexible unwinding system, without unwanted blockages
during use,
- The swivel swivel allows for easy retraction, as the strap is free of any torsion,
- In the event of a fall, the device engages in less than 100 mm of fall, which
reduces the height of the fall,
- The ESD is also a fall indicator, preventing the device from being used after
a fall,
- Complies with EN360
- Complies with VG11 data sheet CNB/P/11.060 of 2009 "use on flat roofs
- Complies with data sheet CNB/P/11.062 of 09.10.2013 ind03 "fall
arresters with a capacity of over 100 kg
