Installing the cutting blades (Fig. 11)

Slide the larger hole of the cutting blades (28) over the cutting head (a) pinions (b).
▪
Pull the cutting blade (28) outward until the smaller cutting blade hole snaps in place on
the pinion.
▪
Push the cutting blade (28) inward to remove it.
NOTE (Fig. 12) : The auxiliary handle (22) has a small storage compartment
(31) that can be used for storing spare cutting blades etc.
13 OPERATION LAWN MOWER
13.1
Starting/stopping the mower (Fig. 8)
▪
Raise the battery cover (7).
▪
Install battery pack (12).
▪
Insert the key (2) into the key hole.
▪
Lower the battery cover (7).
▪
Press and hold the safety button (1). Pull the switch lever (11) toward the handle and
release the button to start the mower.
▪
To stop the mower, release the switch lever (11).
13.2
Setting blade height (Fig. 8-9)
Before using the mower for the first time, raise the cutting position to the height best suited for
your lawn. To achieve the desired cutting height, the front and rear axles are moved on the
underside of the mower deck.
▪
Remove key (2) and battery pack (12).
▪
Remove the grass box (3) and lay the mower on its side.
▪
Pull the wheel axle (a and b) away towards the front of the mower.
▪
Place the wheel axle in the desired position for adjusting the cutting height.
▪
Reinstall key (2) and battery pack (12) when you are ready to mow.
NOTE: Make sure the front, rear, left, and right wheels are in the same
height-of-cut adjustment position.
CAUTION: Disconnect the mower from the power supply and make sure the
blade has stopped rolling before adjusting the height.
13.3
Grass box warning system (Fig. 7)
▪
There is a warning piece (d) in the grass box which will indicate the grass volume.
▪
If the flap (d) is open it means that there is still space for grass collection.
▪
If the flap (d) is closed it means that there is no space for grass collection.
Grass catcher warning system doesn't function when height setting adjustment is set to
▪
the lowest position!
13.4
Mulching (Fig. 19)
Your lawn mower can also be used for mulching. To do so, install the mulching wedge :
▪
Raise the rear cover and remove the grass box.
▪
Push the mulching wedge into the deck. Lock it tightly in its position.
▪
Lower the rear cover again.
