10.3 CLEANING THE GRINDING SYSTEM
Clean the dispensing spout (4) using a brush; use a vacuum cleaner if
necessary. For complete sanitation, use commercially available detergent
tablets for coffee grinders.
ATTENTION
All cleaning and sanitising operations must be carried out with products
approved for use with food.
10.4 MAINTENANCE
To ensure correct operation of the appliance, check and replace the grinders
and the flap every 1600 kg of coffee.
For maintenance and replacement of the grinders:
• Disconnect the appliance from the mains.
• Use the lever (2) placed inside the container (Fig.6) to stop the beans from
moving through.
• Remove the container lid frame (1) using a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew
the two screws on the front edge (Fig.12).
• Remove the lid and the bean container(Fig.13).
• Remove the front plate by sliding it slightly upwards and then forwards,
pulling it away from the fixing magnets (Fig.14).
• Open the hatch containing the touch screen display (Fig.15).
• Unscrew the screws that fasten the upper grinder holder (Fig.16).
To clean the grinders, use a brush or a dry cloth; if necessary use a vacuum
cleaner or a jet of compressed air.
ATTENTION
Maintenance must only be carried out by specialized personnel
authorized by the manufacturer.
ATTENTION
Do not carry out makeshift or precarious repairs, much less use non-
original spare parts.
