Installing the exhaust air hose
In this step you need:
•
Mounted exhaust air hose
•
Portable air conditioner
1. Attach the exhaust air hose to the outlet on the back of your air conditioner. Make sure
that it is firmly attached.
2. If the air conditioner is operated in cooling mode, position it near a window or door so
that the hose leads outside and the appliance can discharge the warm air from the room.
Fitting the window track
Open the window halfway and attach the window rail to the window frame (see Figures 2 and
3). The installation can be carried out horizontally or vertically.
• Adjust the window track to the size of the window by aligning its ends with the
window frame and fixing it in place.
Install air conditioning unit
Place the appliance with the exhaust air hose fitted near the window. Observe the minimum
distance of 50 cm between the appliance and neighbouring walls or objects (Fig. 4).
Notes:
• The flat end of the exhaust air hose must be properly engaged.
• The air hose must not be twisted or have large bends (more than 45°). Do not place
any obstacles near the air inlet or air outlet of the system.
