The technical data regarding inputs and outputs

are to be taken into account (see Technical Data).
All cabling must be installed and connected as per

VDE regulations (VDE = German Association of
Electro-technology, Electronics & Information
Technology).
Power supply
A stable power supply is required to operate SREL3.
The SREL3 can be operated using an external electri-
city feed (9 V - 32 V

power can also be drawn directly from a PoE-capable
network.
Mains adapters (e.g. POWER.SUPPLY.2) are not in-
cluded in the delivery package.
IMPORTANT
Malfunction due to switched-mode power supply
Do not use switched-mode power supplies.
SmartOutput module connection
Up to 15 SmartOutput modules can be connected to
the SREL3 ADV system controller. Eight more relays
are available per module (exception: only four relays in
last module).
