SimonsVoss SREL3 (SREL3) is an electronic switch
which can be activated with suitable ID media such as
transponders . LSM 3.3 SP2 or higher is required to use
the SREL3.
SmartRelays may only be used for the purposes de-
scribed in this manual. No other use is permitted as it
may cause damage to the SmartRelay.
The SREL3 is a networked control unit consisting of a
controller and reader. Up to 3 external readers
(SREL3.EXT.G2.W[.WP]) can be connected via an
RS485 interface. The external reader can be ordered
as a separate unit and operated with both active and
passive credentials. The controller features configur-
able inputs and outputs.
In the advanced version, the controller can be linked to
the mains via Ethernet (PoE-capable). SREL3 Ad-
vanced can be used as a gateway in a virtual network
(VN) or operated with an optionally available addi-
tional SmartOutput module.
