gradually and freely move to the open position. It should
close automatically when raising the cutting head.
• Do not release the cutting handle when the cutting head
of the saw is in the lower position. This will result in an
unstable rapid movement of the cutting head.
• When performing a mitre, bevel or compound cut, adjust
the sliding fences to ensure the correct clearance of the
blade.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Disconnect the battery packs from the tool

• Use compressed air to blow dirt out of the main housing
air vents and the blade guard.Wear approved eye

• Use a cloth dampened with water to clean the other
areas of the tool. Never use solvent based or harsh
chemicals of any type as this may weaken, damage or
destroy plastic components.
• Do not attempt to modify the tool or accessories in any
way.

carried out by a qualified person.

BATTERY STORAGE
If you intend to store a battery for a period without use
then store battery at room temperature (0°C to 20°C) When
storing for very long periods boost charge the battery
once per year to prevent over discharge. The Ambient
temperature range for tool and battery use: 0°C to 40°C. The
charging temperature: 5°C to 40°C.
