For saving water and energy.
There are three timer modes:
1: An acoustical signal sounds after expiration of the time.
The water temperature does not change.
2: An acoustical signal sounds after expiration of the time. The water temper-
ature sinks to 30 °C.
3: An acoustical signal sounds after expiration of the time. The heater switches
off. Only cold water continues to flow.
For the factory setting, the timer is set to five minutes and mode 1 but is not
active.
