Make sure that the clamps are connected correctly.
Failure to follow all instructions may result in
electric shock, fi re, and/or serious personal injury.
WARNING! The override mode uses high current
that can cause sparks and high heat if not used
properly. If you are unsure about using this
mode, do not attempt to use this mode and seek
professional assistance.
1.
Power off all power loads in the vehicle.
2.
Connect the positive (red) clamp to the
positive (+) battery terminal.
3.
Connect the negative (black) clamp to the
negative (-) battery terminal or vehicle chassis.
NOTE: Do not allow positive and negative
battery clamps to touch or connect to each
other to avoid sparking.
4.
Press and hold the on/off button for two
seconds to power on the product.
NOTE: The power LED turns solid green.
5.
Press the prime button to enter the
standard mode.
NOTE: If the vehicle battery's voltage level is
insufficient to jump start using the standard
mode, the start engine LED will flash, and
the error LED will turn solid red.
6.
Press and hold the prime button for two
seconds to activate the override mode.
NOTE: When the product is priming the
vehicle battery, the LED will flash yellow.
7.
Once primed, the start engine LED will turn
solid green.
8.
Start the vehicle.
NOTE: If the engine fails to start, first, ensure
the jump starter is turned off then disconnect
the unit and look for other problems that may
need to be corrected.
9.
Press and hold the on/off button for two
seconds to power off the product.
10. Disconnect the product from the vehicle by
removing the negative (black) clamp first,
then the positive (red) clamp.
MAINTENANCE
Use only original manufacturer's replacement
parts, accessories, and attachments. Failure to
do so can cause possible injury, can contribute to
poor performance, and may void your warranty.
Servicing requires extreme care and knowledge
and should be performed only by a qualified
service technician. Have the product serviced
by an authorised service centre only.
Power off the product, and remove the battery
pack. Allow both to cool down. Make sure that
all moving parts have come to a complete stop
before any cleaning or maintenance task.
Do not, at any time, let brake fluids, gasoline,
petroleum-based products, penetrating oils, etc.,
come in contact with plastic parts. Chemicals
can damage, weaken, or destroy plastic, which
may result in serious personal injury.
Hazardous voltages are present within the
product; do not disassemble.
Always have any damaged or worn parts
repaired or replaced by qualified personnel at
an authorised service centre.
Check all nuts, bolts, and screws before each use
and at frequent intervals for proper tightness to
ensure that the product is in safe working condition.
Any part that is damaged should be properly repaired
or replaced by an authorised service centre.
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic
parts. Most plastics are susceptible to various
types of commercial solvents and may be
damaged by their use. Use a clean cloth to
remove dirt, dust, oil, and grease.
STORAGE
Power off the product, and remove the
battery pack. Make sure that all moving
parts have come to a complete stop. Allow
the product and the battery pack to cool
down before storing or transporting.
Do not store or transport the product with
the battery pack fitted. Remove the battery
pack, and secure it separately.
Store the product indoors. Store the product
in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place
that is inaccessible to children. Keep the
product away from corrosive agents, such
as garden chemicals and de-icing salts. Do
not store the product outdoors.
Store the product in a cool, dry place
between -30 °C and 70 °C.
If the product is to be stored unused for a
long period, remove the battery pack.
