• Never wear rings, watches, ties or body jewelry while working. Tie
long hair together and secure. Always wear practical clothing made of
sturdy material that fits snugly but does not hinder you. Danger of being
drawn into rotating parts; avoid injuries by wearing personal protective
equipment.
• Always wear personal protective equipment and close-fitting safety
goggles and ensure that the safety goggles fit correctly. Wearing
personal protective equipment, such as a dust mask, non-slip safety
shoes, hard hat, hearing protection and safety goggles, depending on the
type and use of the appliance, reduces the risk of injury and permanent
damage.
Electrical safety:
• Never expose the device to rain, snow, humidity or moisture. Only use
the appliance if all connections are dry and secure. The ingress of water
into and onto the appliance increases the risk of electric shock.
• The plug of the appliance must fit into the socket. The plug must not be
modified in any way. Do not use adapter plugs or multiple sockets. Only
connect the appliance via a residual current circuit breaker (RCCB). If
your power connection does not have a residual current circuit breaker,
the appliance must be operated via a PRCD circuit breaker! Never use
damaged or defective sockets. Unmodified plugs and suitable, fault-free
sockets reduce the risk of electric shock.
• Avoid contact with earthed parts such as pipes, radiators, ovens and
cooling units. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is
earthed.
• If you are working with the appliance outdoors, only use extension cables
that are suitable for outdoor use. This measure reduces the risk of electric
shock.
Never use the mains cable to carry the appliance, hang it up or pull it out
of the socket. Keep the cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving
parts of the appliance. Never pinch, kink, crush or knot the cable under
the appliance. always unwind the cable completely. never immerse the
power cable in water or other liquids. Damaged, wet or tangled cables
