0.0. INTRODUCTION
This instruction manual is intended for the machine user and contains all
the information regarding installation, use, and maintenance, including all
necessary safety instructions.
The instruction manual must be kept near the machine, protected from
dirt and moisture, and always available for reference.
This machine should only be used for the purpose for which it was
expressly designed.
Any other use is considered improper and therefore dangerous. The
manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from
improper use or failure to comply with the safety and usage instructions
outlined in this manual.
— In this instruction manual, highlighted text indicates an important
warning to which particular attention should be paid.
— A label on the machine includes:
— The CE symbol, which certifies that the machine complies with the EU
regulations in force at the time of its construction.
— Circular symbols of obligation, indicating the mandatory use of
protective equipment such as gloves, pants, shoes, and glasses.
— A circular symbol with a book, indicating the presence of the
instruction manual, which must be read before the machine's installation
or use.
— A rectangular symbol indicating the machine's maximum load
capacity.
1.0. ESSENTIAL SAFETY AND HEALTH PROTECTION REQUIRE-
MENTS
1.1. SAFETY INTEGRATION
English
The machine has been designed to operate, be operated, adjusted,
and maintained under the intended conditions without exposing
individuals to risk, taking into account reasonably foreseeable misuse.
The measures taken aim to eliminate all risks during the machine's
foreseeable life cycle, including transport, assembly, disassembly,
decommissioning, and disposal phases.
The machine is designed and constructed with the operator's
limitations in mind, especially when using necessary or foreseeable
personal protective equipment.
The machine comes with all essential equipment and special accesso-
ries to adjust, maintain, and operate it safely.
1.2. MACHINE INFORMATION AND SAFETY FOR TILE LIFTING
Read this manual carefully before installing the machine and keep it
for future reference.
1.2.1. INTENDED USE OF THE TILE LIFTING MACHINE
The machine can be used for lifting and handling heavy tiles with a
maximum size of 180 x 80 cm and a maximum weight of 70 kg.
1.2.2. GUIDELINES AND CONTRAINDICATIONS
Only the following individuals should operate the machine:
1. Operators in sufficient number to limit the effort to 25 kg for men
and 20 kg for women.
2. Operators with sufficient educational background to fully
understand the information contained in this manual (recommended
minimum: middle school diploma).
3. Operators who have received instruction on how to use the machi-
ne from responsible and experienced personnel.
4. It is forbidden to lift the machine with systems such as hoists,
elevators, pulleys, or anything other than the operators' hands.
5. It is forbidden to lift the machine and its load to heights greater
than 1.1 meters from the ground.
6. The use of safety glasses, protective shoes, gloves, and long pants
is mandatory.
7. Lock all knobs before lifting the tile.
8. Before lifting a new material, test the suction cup's holding time
by attaching a tile and keeping it suspended 5 cm off the ground for
three times the period needed for handling.
This is necessary because the suction cup's vacuum retention time,
which may last hours on smooth material with new suction cups, can
be reduced to a few seconds on very rough tiles or when using old or
worn suction cups.
10) This machine cannot be used for lifting porous materials.
11) The machine cannot be used in ways other than those for which
it was designed.
12) Do not lift materials whose weight and size are not proportional to
the structure of the machine.
13) Do not lift with an ambient or material temperature lower than
5°C or higher than 50°C. Additionally, both the material and suction
cups should be clean and dry.
14) Any modification that alters the characteristics of the machine
must only be carried out by the manufacturer, who will certify its
compliance. Therefore, any modification or maintenance intervention
not included in this manual is considered unauthorized.
15) The load capacity is guaranteed at a maximum altitude of 1000
meters above sea level.
16) Do not place the suction cups on surfaces wet with chemicals
other than water.
17) To clean the rubber of the suction cups, use only water and dish
soap.
1.3. MAIN PARTS OF THE TILE LIFTING MACHINE
The machine consists of the following main parts:
Longitudinal and vertical extrusions
Suction cups
—) Additional parts can be identified in the attached exploded
diagrams.
1.3.1. MATERIALS THAT MAKE UP THE MACHINE:
Steel Ac
Aluminum Al
Styrene rubber SBR
Nylon PA
5.0. DISPOSAL
When dismantling the machine, allocate each component to the
corresponding recycling process to avoid environmental pollution.

1.4. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
1.4.1. INSTALLATION
1.4.2. TRANSPORT AND UNPACKING OF THE MACHINE
The machine may arrive packaged inside a cardboard box.
Check the integrity of the packaging, ensuring visually that there is no
evident damage incurred during transport, and remove the machine
from the packaging.
CAUTION: Dispose of packaging elements that may pose a safety
hazard.
1.4.3. ACCESSORIES
Check for the presence of all accessories inside the machine:
Instruction manual
1.4.3.1. COMPONENT ASSEMBLY
To facilitate transport, the machine may have been partially disas-
sembled. Follow the images as assembly instructions.
1.4.4. POSITIONING
Identify a sufficiently wide flat area with a smooth, solid, and level
surface, preferably sheltered from rain or snow.
Clear the working area of objects that could pose a danger or cause
tripping.
Always ensure that the surface where the machine is placed can
support the weight and provide the necessary stability.
Keep the area clean and adequately illuminated.
2.0. SAFETY SYSTEMS OF THE TILE LIFTING MACHINE
The machine is equipped with the following mechanical protection
devices:
Vacuum gauge for measuring the vacuum inside the suction cups.
3.0. TECHNICAL DATA
