changes, especially at times of rapidly changing temperatures.
Oral temperatures are often influenced by eating, drinking, thermometer
placement, breathing through the mouth, or the inability of the person to close
their mouth completely.
Body Temperature
The temperature of a healthy person is affected by various factors: the person's
individual metabolism, their age. body temperature is higher in babies and
toddlers and decreases with age. Greater temperature fluctuations occur faster
and more often in children. e.g.due to growth spurts), their clothing, the ambient
temperature, the time of day(body temperature is lower in the morning and
increases throughout the day towards evening), the preceding physical and, to a
lesser extent, mental activity.
It is suggested that users develop the habit of daily measurement. and use this
product to establish a private normal temperature range for themselves and their
families as a reference for measurement.
How to use your thermometer
1. Remove the thermometer from the box.
2. Be sure to install a sanitary cap on the temperature probe before each
measurement.

2.1 DET-1015 must be used with the probe protection cover. If the probe
protection cover is not installed, the display will show "CAP" (as shown in
Figure). To reduce the risk of cross-contamination, it is recommended to use a
new and clean probe cover for each measurement.

Note: The ear thermometer will not work unless a Hygiene cap is attached.
3. Push the measurement button "

4. To achieve accurate measurements, fit the probe snuggly into the ear canal
and direct towards opposite temple.
5. When a temperature measurement is in progress, the machine light ring will
illuminate with indicator light which will remain solid for 2 seconds to indicate
that a temperature reading has been successfully taken.

NOTE: lf the probe has been properly inserted into the ear canal during the
measurement, a beep will sound to signal the completed measurement.
If the probe has not been constantly placed in a stable position in the ear canal a
beep will sound, the light will go out and the display will show an error message
(see 《Situation and Symbols》 section for more information) or displays values
below normal body temperature.
6. The confirmation beep indicates that an accurate temperature measurement
has been taken. The result is shown on the display. Temperature reading
displayed is an equivalent of oral temperature.
7. Two consecutive measurements need to be taken 5-15 seconds apart, mainly
because during the first measurement, the temperature balance of the ear
canal is disrupted when the probe is inserted into the ear canal, so it takes 5-15
seconds to recover. Otherwise the machine will display "Er1".
