5 PREPARING THE PLACE OF
INSTALLATION

• To correctly install your fireplace, the fume ducts
between the fireplace and the flue must be waterproof
and all the pipe union joints must be sealed.
• If the fireplace is installed where there is a pre-
existing flue which was used for other fireplaces, it
is important to clean it carefully to prevent faulty
functioning and to avoid any unburned combustion
deposits located inside its walls from catching fire.
On all fireplaces, on the outsides of the hearth and
hood, apply 4 cm thick rock wool panels with a
density of 40 Kg/m
to thermally insulate the fireplace.
• UNI regulations envisage installation of a temperature
outlet grille as close as possible to the ceiling.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The responsibility for any work done in the space
where the stove is to be installed is, and remains, the
user's. The user is also entrusted with carrying out
the checks regarding the proposed installation
solutions.
The user must comply with all the local, national and
European rules and regulations.
If the floor does not have a sufficient load-bearing
capacity, it is advisable to use a load-distributing plate
of an appropriate size.

DANGER: the appliance must be installed on a floor
with an adequate carrying capacity.
The stove assembly and disassembly operations
must be carried out by skilled technicians only.
It is always advisable for the user to call our assistance
service when they need qualified technicians.
If other technicians are called in, please make sure
they are truly qualified.

• Für eine korrekte installation muss die abgasleitung
zwischen dem Kamin und dem Rauchabzugsrohr
dicht sein, d.h. alle anschlussteile müssen
versiegelt werden.
• Sollte der Kamin an ein Rauchabzugsrohr
angeschlossen werden, an dem zuvor ein anderer
Kamin angeschlossen war, ist das rauchabzugsrohr
zuerst gründlich zu Reinigen, um betriebsanomalien
und das brennen der noch unverbrannten teile, die
sich an den kaminrohrwänden absetzen, zu
vermeiden.
• alle kaminöfen müssen an den Aussenseiten der
Feuerstelle und der Abzugshaube mit 4 cm starken
Steinwollplatten mit einer Dichte von 40 kg/m³ auf
Aluminium Wärmeisoliert werden.
• Die Uni-Normen sehen die Anordnung eines Gitters
für die Teperaturabgabe vor, dass sich so nah wie
möglich an der decke befinden soll.

VORBEUGENDE SICHERHEITSMASSNAHMEN

Die Verantwortung für die Arbeiten im Aufstellungsraum
des Gerätes ist und bleibt die des Benutzers; diesem
wird auch die Ausführung der Kontrolle bezüglich der
Installationsvorschläge übertragen.
Der Benutzer hat alle örtlichen, nationalen und
europäischen Sicherheitsregelungen einzuhalten.
GEFAHR: Das Gerät muss auf einem Fußboden mit

entsprechender Ladefähigkeit installiert werden.
Sollte die Tragfähigkeit des Fußbodens nicht ausreichen, eine
Platte zur Lastverteilung mit entsprechender Größe verwenden.
Die Maßnahmen zur Montage und zum Zerlegen des
Kaminofens dürfen nur von Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden.
Es ist immer empfehlenswert, sich für die Anforderung
von qualifizierten Technikern an eine unserer
Kundendienststellen zu wenden.
Sollten andere Techniker eingreifen, sind deren
Fähigkeiten unbedingt sicherzustellen.
