8 THE RETENTION SYSTEM

To ensure safe fastening of the chin guard, carefully read the "Instructions and Safety
Warnings" booklet.
8.1 CLOSING
Slip the chin guard end through the two rings (img. 33).
Slip the chin guard end back through the internal ring. Pull the end of the strap until you feel
pressure against your jaw (img. 34).
Fasten the press stud to secure the end in place (img. 35).
Make sure that the helmet sits tight on the head.
8.2 OPENING
Release the press stud by pulling the end of the strap. With the help of the red tab, loosen the
strap in the rings (img. 36).
