PRECAUTIONS
@Avoid using or placing this unit near sources of high temperature. Be
especially careful not to allow this unit to remain in an automobile
which is in the direct sunlight for a long time with the doors and
windows
closed, because
this may cause deformation of the
cabinet.
Cassettes, both recorded and unrecorded, should be stored in a
place away from high temperature, high humidity and direct sunlight.
Never place a recorded cassette near any magnetic source, such as
a magnet or a TV set, because this will affect tape performance.
@Avoid using C-120 cassette tape with this unit because this tape can
easily become broken, stretched or twisted if not used with extreme
care.
@Always be sure to press the Stop Lever before removing or inserting
a cassette into the unit.
@When not in use, disconnect the power cord from the outlet.

THE WIRES IN THIS MAINS LEAD ARE COLOURED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING CODE.
BLUE:

As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this apparatus may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals
in your plug, proceed as follows:

@The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured black.
eThe wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured red.
Ifa 13-amp (BS. 1363) plug is used,
a3-amp fuse must be fitted, or if any other type of plug is used, a 5-amp fuse must be fitted either
in the plug or adaptor or at the distribution board.
Note:
When not in use, disconnect the power cord from the outlet.
