OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
IC-100HD INSPECTION CAMERA

INTENDED USE

The inspection camera serves as a visual aid for inspecting and detecting faults in poorly
lit and hard to reach spaces. The built in TFT-LCD monitor displays image data in real
time. Photos and videos can be saved using a Micro SD card (not included). The camera is
waterproof (IP68) and suitable for use in water after securing in a watertight position. The
light on top of the camera can be adjusted using five different settings. The camera can be
connected to a computer using the USB port. A corresponding USB cable is included with the
camera. Power is provided via the rechargeable battery, which can be charged using a power
source with a USB connection.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If
you use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be
damaged. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric
shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third
parties only together with its operating instructions.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information
on proper handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting
personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the
warranty/guarantee.
a) Persons / Product
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become
dangerous playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if
the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
can damage the product.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are
connected to the product.
• Attention, LED light: Do not look directly into the LED light! Do not look into the
beam directly or with optical instruments!
• During continuous use the front part of the camera (light) can become hot. Do not
touch this part.
• The camera may only be used for inspection in areas without a power source.
The camera head is made from metal and can lead to short circuits.
• The camera must not be used in areas that are at risk of explosion or for
inspecting people and animals.
• For safety reasons, turn off all power sources before each inspection.
b) Rechargeable batteries
• Never damage the rechargeable battery. Damaging the casing of the
rechargeable battery might cause an explosion or a fire!
• Never short-circuit the contacts of the rechargeable battery. Do not throw the
battery or the product into fire. There is a danger of fire and explosion!
• Charge the rechargeable battery regularly, even if you do are not using the
product. Due to the rechargeable battery technology being used, you do not need

to discharge the rechargeable battery first.
• Never charge the rechargeable battery of the product unattended.
• When charging, place the product on a surface that is not heat-sensitive. It is
normal that a certain amount of heat is generated during charging.
• Correct polarity must be observed while inserting the batteries.
• The battery should be removed from the device if it is not used for a long period of
time to avoid damage through leaking. Leaking or damaged batteries might cause
acid burns when in contact with skin, therefore use suitable protective gloves to
handle corrupted batteries.
• Batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying
around, as there is risk, that children or pets swallow them.
c) Miscellaneous
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the
device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an
expert or at a qualified shop.

covered by these operating instructions, please do not hesitate to contact our technical

OPERATION

a) Inserting and charging the battery
1. Unscrew the end cap (12) anticlockwise.
2. Insert the battery (11) into the battery compartment. Observe the correct polarity shown in
the battery compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment after inserting the battery. Secure the end cap by turning
it clockwise.
4. Ensure that the camera is turned off before charging the battery.
5. Unscrew the head cover (8) anticlockwise until the USB port is exposed. Place the
camera on a heat resistant surface.
6. Connect the mini USB plug of the supplied USB cable to the mini USB port (1). Connect
the USB-A plug of the USB cable to a USB port on your computer or to another USB
power source (e.g USB power adaptor).
7. The red charge indicator (7) will turn on when the battery is charging. The light turns off
when the battery is fully charged. A full charge cycle takes approximately 8 hours and
depends on the level of the battery before charging. When the battery level is low, the
battery level indicator (7) flashes green for 5 seconds. If you are using the light, it will then
turn off automatically.
8. Fully secure the end cap and head cover so that they are watertight before using the
camera in water.
