Getting Started
Installing the Micro-SIM Card (Select
Models Only)
Your device supports dual micro-SIM cards. If
you have only one SIM card, insert it in SIM 1
slot.
Noting the orientation, insert the micro-SIM
card all the way into the slot.

Installing the Battery Packs
The device has two battery compartments for
two battery packs; each is installed in the same
way.
1. With the battery pack correctly oriented,

Charging the Battery
Connect the AC adapter to charge the
battery.
The battery charge indicator (
glows in amber when charging is in
progress. When the battery is fully charged,
the amber indicator turns into green.
Performing the Initial Startup
You must use external AC power when starting
up the device for the very first time.
1. Press the power button (
seconds until the power indicator lights up.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete
the setup process.
After the setup is completed, the Home screen
appears. You can now use the device.
