Das Gehäusedes PTC liegt auf Masse.Deshalb sollten Sie den DC-Stromversorgungsstecker n ur im
spannungsfreienZustand aufstecken. Also zuerstStromversorgungsstecker aufstecken unddannerst
mit der Betriebsspannung(Netzteil) verbinden.
Besonderswenn PTC und Funkgerätausdem gleichenNetzteil versorgt werden und PTC und Funk-
gerätNF-seitignochverbunden Sind, s olltederDC-Stecker n ie in die Buchsegesteckt w erden,solange
diesernoch Spannungführt!

Very Important:
You shouldconnectthe power supplyplug to the PTC only whenthe powersupplyis switchedoff.
First connectthe plug to the PTC, andthen to the power supply.
The DC plug of the PTC shouldneverbe pluggedinto its socketwith the powerconnected. T his
appliesespeciallywhenthe PTC andtheradioequipmentareconnected by meansof theAF andthe
PTT cables, and use the same power supply.
The caseof the PTC is at earth potential, and, in event of a short circuit, very seriousinternal damage
to the PTC can occur if this advice is not followed.
