Charging the battery

Follow the LED indicator on the charger to find out the charging status
of the battery:
- Red LED - the battery is charging
- Green LED - the battery is fully charged
1. Connect the charger to a power source
2. Insert the radio with the battery installed into the charger
3. The charger LED lights up
4. If the battery is fully charged, the LED on the charger will turn green.
After charging, remove the radio with battery from the charger.
Communication distance
The maximum coverage distance depends on obstacles and is
obtained when the radio is used in an open field. The maximum
distance is limited by factors such as trees or buildings. Inside a car
or a metal construction, the distance is significantly reduced.
The communication distance for the PNI PMR R40 Camo radio is up
to 10 km in open field.
