Remove the mains plug from
 
the mains outlet after use and
before cleaning .
˜ First set-up of the product
˜ Unpacking the product and
basic cleaning
1 . Take the product out of the packaging and
remove all packaging materials and plastic
wrappings .
2 . Check to make sure that all listed parts are
included (see "Scope of delivery") .
3 . Check whether the product and all parts are
in good condition, if any damage or defect is
detected, do not use the product, but follow the
procedure described in chapter "Warranty" .
4 . Before first use, clean all parts of the product
as described in the chapter "Cleaning" .

Acrylamide is a possibly carcinogenic

substance formed from a reaction with amino
acids when frying foodstuffs with a high starch
content . The formation of acrylamide increases
dramatically at temperatures above +175 °C .

Do not fry foodstuffs with high starch content,

for example french fries, at temperatures above
+170 °C . The foodstuffs should only be fried
to golden-yellow, instead of dark or brown .
This is the only way to achieve low-acrylamide
cooking .
