Setting up / operation
1. Removethe textile pre-filter (1)by taking hold of the top on both sides
andpulling it forwards. Takethe DualFilterlM(2)from its housing(3)and
removethe plastic film. Set the DualFilterTM (2) in place so that the two
textile tabs are visible on the front side. Arrows on the top of the filter
(2)indicatethe direction inwhich the filter must be inserted.Important:
Rogerbig hasa textile pre-filter on both sidesand a DualFilterTM, there-
fore both Dual FilterTMs m ust be unpackedand inserted.
2 Refit the textile pre-filter (1) by inserting the positioning aids near the
bottom of the textile pre-filter (1)into the notchesonthe housing(3)and
then tilting the textile pre-filter (1)towards the housinguntil it is locked
into placeat the top by the magnetson the housing(3).Make sure that
the LEDcylinder at the front towards the bottom of the appliance is
inserted in the hole on the pre-filter.
3. Place Roger/Rogerlittle / Roger big to the desired location on a flat
surface, ideally centered in the room. This allows air to be supplied from
all sides.
4. Connect the mains cable (4) to its connection (5) on the unit and then to
a suitable power outlet.
5. Turnon Roger/Rogerlittle/ Rogerbig by pressingthe on/off button (7).
The controls and the display light up in sequencefrom right to left. If
no further buttons are pressedwithin 10 seconds,the display goes out
again.Otherwise,visibility is extendedbya further 10seconds.Pressing
the on/off button (6)or the controls lights them back up.To turn Roger/
Rogerlittle / Rogerbigoff, pressthe on/off button (6)for two seconds
6. Air quality is measuredby meansof various sensors(Roger/ Rogerbig
= gas and particle sensorPM2.5/ Rogerlittle = gas sensor)and is indi-
cated by the air quality indicator (7) in front of the textile pre-filter (1).
The blue LED means good air quality. The orange LEDshows medium air
quality,andthe red LEDshows poorair quality. If the device is switched
on again, the displaywill light up in orangefor the first three minutes.
The display then changesto the air quality currently measured(blue,
orangeor red).
7. Youcan changethe speed level by pressingthe button for the selection
of the speed level (8) (one LEDfor level 1, two LEDsfor level 2, etc.).
Increasingthe speed level is useful when the air quality indicator (7)
indicates decreasingair quality (bluefor goodair quality,orangefor me-
diumair quality and red for poor air quality). Foroptimal air purification,
we recommendactivating auto mode(9).
8. Pressingthe button for auto mode (9) automatically adjusts the speed
levelto the current air quality (steps 1-4). If the air quality deteriorates,
the deviceautomatically selectsa higherspeedlevel.The displayshows
"Auto"
when auto mode is activated.
9. By pressingthe button for the timer (10)you can set the operating time
for between one andsevenhours(for example,3h= 1h and2h LEDslit,
7 h = 1h, 2h and 4h LEDslit). The selectedtime is displayedabovethe
timer button with white LEDs.Pressonce to set the operating time to
1h, pressthe button againfor 2 h, andso on The remainingtime is indi-
catedby the illuminatedLEDsabovethe timer button. The unit switches
off automatically after the set operatingtime haselapsed.If noLEDsare
lit above the timer, the unit is set to continuous operation.
