The device is used to measure both the temperature and the TPM content (% of TPM polar compounds), and
the resulting percentage allows the degree of oil ageing to be determined.

Device use
The oil tester can measure all frying oils and fats. Such as rapeseed oil, soybean oil, sesame oil, palm oil,
olive oil, peanut oil and other vegetable oils. Animal fat can also be measured. Depending on the type of
fat, the TPM value of fresh oil will vary within a few percent, and the maximum use time of the oil for
frying varies.
For example, fresh palm oil has a higher initial TPM than other oils, but it ages much slower than other oils.
