device to adapt it to your application requirements.
Submenu AVID – video output
All TILOs have an analog video output which you
can activate. The function for this can be found in
the AVID submenu. In normal mode the video output
is deactivated, the selection is set to OFF.
ATTENTION:
If PAL or NTSC video output is activated, no image
will be displayed on the device's OLED screen. This
will remain black until the video output is deactiva-
ted again. If you want to disable the video output,
press button 2 for 7 seconds. After releassing the
button the device restarts in normal mode. The video
output is then deactivated again.
To activate the video output, use buttons 1 or 2 to select
e. g. PAL and confirm the selection by pressing and hol-
ding button 4. „WAIT" appears as confirmation.
The screen will turn black and the device will restart in
PAL mode. The image data is output via the video inter-
face of the device connector. You will need an appro-
priate screen or recording device and a corresponding
video cable (not supplied).
NOTE:
The video output of the filters (B)CR, (B)CG and
(B)RH are not being output in the corresponding
colors, but in black and white.
Note: If the power/video access of the device
connector is not used, it must always be closed
waterproof with the cap provided.
Submenu COLL
In this submenu you can adjust the collimation of
your TILO™.
Collimation:
The TILO™ can also be used as thermal imaging
spectacles when both eyes are open. In the brain, the
image fusion of thermal image (left) and real image
(right) occurs. Instead of a real image, the second eye
could also be equipped with an image intensifier. This
effect can only be achieved in zoom level 1
ding on the user, double images may occur despite
the factory calibration performed beforehand. In this
case a collimation must be performed.
