Application range
The calibration source CS 1200 is used for the calibration and the inspection of infrared
thermometers (pyrometers) and infrared cameras for non-contact temperature
measurement within the temperature range from 300 °C to 1200 °C. The infrared
calibration source PYROTHERM CS 1500 is used for the calibration and verification of
pyrometers and infrared cameras within the temperature range from 300 °C to 1500 °C,
especially in the near infrared range (NIR) at 0.8 µm to 1.8 µm wavelength.
The device is constructed as a cavity radiator, so multiple reflections occur inside the
cavity. That increases the emissivity. An approach to the physical ideal of the black body
is achieved. The device has a RS-485 interface.
