2.3 Range of usage
The pneumatic-hydraulic tool is designed for riveting with blind rivet nuts:
> Rivet Nuts M3- M10 [Aluminium, Steel, Stainless Steel] and M12 [Aluminium, Steel]
> Rivet Bolts M4 - M8 [Aluminium, Steel, Stainless steel]
2.4 Tool operation
The manufacturer pre-equipped the tool with an anvil and mandrel for blind rivet
nuts M8. For inserting blind rivet nuts with a different dimension, it is necessary
to exchange the anvil and mandrel accordingly. Change the basic set-up and
regulation of the tool as follows:
Close the hand slide valve [main valve 2.1] on the tool. All devices in our AS-SERIES
can be quickly disconnected from the compressed air for checking or short-term
shutdown.
1. Loosen the counternut of the anvil
2. Unscrewing the anvil from the front nozzle
3. Unscrewing out the mandrel from the sleeve
4. Choose appropriate anvil and mandrel, see the following chart:
