12.1 Intended use
The appliance is intended for private/household use. It is suitable for the heating
and cooking of food.
• Every other form of use is not considered an intended use. The manufacturer
accepts no liability for any damage.
• Do not use the appliance for purposes other than cooking food. The manufactu-
rer accepts no liability for any damage.
• For safety reasons, modifications or alterations to the appliance are not permit-
ted.
• The appliance is not suitable for integration in a fitted kitchen!
Any use outside these areas of application is not in accordance with the intended
use and is therefore considered improper use.
12.2 Safety and responsibility
Safety of children and persons with limited capabilities
This appliance may be used by children above 8 years of age, and by persons
with limited physical, sensory or mental aptitude or lack of experience and/or
knowledge:
• If they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the appliance
• and understand the associated dangers.
• Children must not be allowed to play with the appliance. Keep children away
from the appliance!
• Children must not be allowed to clean the appliance.
• Risk of injury from individual cleaning operations.
CAUTION
RISK OF BURNS!
When operating the appliance in combination mode, children may operate the
appliance only under the supervision of adults due to the high temperatures.
12.3 Safety and warnings
Observe the following in order to avoid the risk of burns, electric short-circuit,
fire, injuries or microwave radiation:

Persons with heart pacemakers should keep away from this appliance. It cannot be as-
sured that every heart pacemaker available on the market meets the guidelines for sa-
fety and electromagnetic compatibility, and that no interference is caused that endangers
their proper function.
The function of hearing aids may also be impaired.
