~ Before switching on the TV
Power connection
IMPORTANT: The TV setis designed to operate on 230V j |
AC, 50 Hz.
After unpacking, allow the TV set to reach the ambient ie
room temperature before you connect the set to mains
Aerial connection
Insert the aerial plug tightly into the antenna socket "ANT"
at the back of TV using an aerial cable of good quality.

How to connect other devices
Important:
Switch off the TV before connecting any external device.
Sockets for external connections are on the back and on
the right side of the TV set. Connection with a video re-
corder is shown at the figure on page 2?
For connection of other devices via Euroconnector refer to
the manuals of the related devices.
Inserting batteries in the remote control
handset
:

¢ Remove the battery cover located on the back of the
handset by gently pulling upwards from the indicated
part.
e insert two AAA (RO3/LRO3) or equivalent type of batter-
ies inside.
« Replace the battery cover.,
Remove batteries from the remote control handset when
itis not to be used for a tong time period. Otherwise it can
be damaged due to any leakage of batteries.

| Automatic Programming System (APS)
important:
he APS message menu box will appear on the screen
when you switch on your TV set for the very first time.
APS automatically programmes your TV, according to the
| transmission of programme systems in your area.
| e First come to the country item by pressing "A" or "V"
button and to select the country press "<1" or ">" but-
ton. You will see the available countries in highligtened
bar on the COUNTRY menu. Come to your country
from the available countries by pressing "A" or "V"
button and select it by pressing "OK" button.
¢ Press "(M4)" button come to EXECUTION APS menu
again.
» By pressing "A" or "VY" buttons, come to the MENU
LANGUAGE item and press "<1" or '" button. You will
see the available languages in the highlignhtened bar
on the MENU LANGUAGE menu. Select the language
in which the menus of the TV will appear by pressing
"A" or "V" button. As soon as press the "OK" button,
the menu items will be displayed in the selected lan-
guage.
* After selecting the menu language if you want to start
APS, by pressing the up and down buttons, come to
the Start item and by pressing "<1" or 'T>" button start
the APS.
* Press TV button to cancel APS so you can do it any
time later. TV will switch to normal operation mode.
