You can go on the desired source by pressing "A" or "V"
buttons. In order to display the desired source use "OK" |
button.
Automatic
Selection of External Source:
EXT-1, EXT-2 and EXT-3 are automatically selected, when
external device is connected. Under certain conditions it
is still required to be able to select another TV program
even when an external source is selected. The user can
always overrule the automatic source switching with the
TV button.

«When the menu system is active, the AV button of the |
remote control do not function. But the pin 8 of the |
scarts still function even when the menu system is |
active or the TV set is in the text mode.

When an encrypted TV program is recognised by the
external decoder this decoder will activate the EXT-1/2/3 |
status line and EXT-1/2/3 will become the main source.
Without a program selection possibility in AV mode it
would be complicated to select another program.
So, in AV mode itis still possible to select a new program
via digit entry or "P +/P -' function. The program number
of the most recent internal source will be changed.
Screen Format
You can select the Screen Format by pressing the "@9" |
button on the remote control.
There are different types of modes (AUTO, 4:3, 16:9,
CINE, ZOOM, LUPE) that can be selected by pressing
the same bution.

in AUTO mode the WSS info is decoded and the mode of
the screen format (4:3, 16:9, or CINE) is selected auto- |
matically by the IV, itself.

the middle part of the screen is displayed.
Still Picture
Pressing "OK" button in TV mode makes the picture on
the screen frozen. Pressing this button again enables mov-
ing pictures again.
| Previous Program Selection
By pressing "P<P" you can switch between the previously
selected and last selected TV channel in a toggling
mode.
Multipicture

The Multipicture function is availabe by the "€4" button,
if PIP (Picture In Picture) module is not installed on the
TV.
{f PIP (Picture In Picture) module is installed the function
can be selected via the PIP Menu.
This function partitiones the display into 12 parts, each for
a picture of the TV source. One picture at a time will be
» active.
The pictures are displayed sequentially beginning from the
upper left partition through the lower right partition.
Sin
Each picture is displayed live for a moment, then it be-
comes still, and the next picture follows the same procedure
on the next partition.
