General menu operation
To minimise number of the remote control buttons, less
frequently used functions are only accessible via simple
menus. The menus are controlled by the following buttons:
"(i)" to enter the top level menu

+ "(a)" to leave the submenu to top one level higher
menu

«"A" or "VY" to select the previous or next menu item.
¢"<1" or ">" for entering the Submenus or for changing
the value of the selected item of a menu.
* TV button is used for leaving the menu system.
Inside a menu, you can move through the menu items with
"A" or"V" buttons. The value of the menu items can be
changed with the "<1" or ">" buttons. The color of the se:
jected item of a menu or submenu will change when itis |
selecled by using cursor buttons.
Picture Menu
In order to change video settings of your TV set, youcan |
- access to "PICTURE" sub-menu in the "MAIN MENU" or
enter the Picture Menu directly by pressing the Green but-
ton. The following menu will appear:

* The Noise reduction can be adjusted in four different
levels: Minumum, Medium, Maximum
and Auto.
Additionally it can be cancelled by selecting the OFF
option. Using "<1" or ">" buttons toggle between these
three settings
The Screen Format can be six different modes:
Auto, 4:3, 16:9, Cinema (CINE), ZOOM, LUPE. Using
Cursor "<1' or ">" buttons toggle between these differ-
ent screen formats.
The Screen format can be stored for all channels (200
channels) individually.
¢ Picture smart modes (personal, soft, natural, and
rich) are selected via toggling the value of this item
with using "<?' or '>" buttons. Default value is personal
ai mains power up and last selected at standby condi-
tion.
« You can change the Hue for NTSC systems by "<1" or
">" buttons after selecting this item. A level indicator
for Hue is displayed while changing this item. The Hue
bar is displayed while a NTSC signal is input from the
SCART.
